Ser antes de nacer: Recordando el Yoga en la infancia

Durante el tiempo de vida del Instituto Eastwest Somatics (USA), Land to Water Yoga ha tenido diferentes nombres, incluyendo Yoga Somático o Shin Somatics Yoga. El método honra e incluye posturas y filosofía tradicional, con el propósito de darle un enfoque terapéutico y poder conectar con los procesos del desarrollo humano desde la infancia. Esto le ofrece una oportunidad al yogui de descubrir y rastrear el desarrollo humano hasta su fuente.

Frecuentemente reflexiono que mi experiencia con el yoga es conectar con mi ser, antes de nacer. Así lo descubro en mis prácticas de yoga tradicional y también lo vivo en mis prácticas somáticas inspiradas por las enseñanzas de Sondra Fraleigh como parte de nuestra formación en Shin Somatics Yoga y Land to Water Yoga.

En este acercamiento de yoga somático se construye con una metodología y experiencia en espiral, cada práctica de yoga va tocando asanas y procesos que nos regresan a nuestra esencia. Y una de las características más importantes para la práctica es mantener una actitud lúdica y ligera, frecuentemente bailando y realizando transiciones entre asanas, descubriendo nuevas formas, entrar y salir en posturas desde una perspectiva psicomotriz y biomecánica.

Componemos y descomponemos el movimiento de forma gradual, hay tanto un enfoque en la postura como en las transiciones entre movimientos -en específico cambiando de nivel entre: acostado boca arriba, boca abajo, sentado en 4 puntos y de pie.

Land to Water Yoga es presentado con valores y técnicas somáticas, incluyendo una pedagogía específica para la enseñanza. Su enfoque es incrementar la autoconciencia a través de movimiento suave y lúdico, buscando homeostasis, balance y salud dentro de la persona. A través del movimiento en las clases se trabaja tanto en facetas terapéuticas, tacto y ajustes suaves, imágenes y centros energéticos del cuerpo como los chakras.

    When I initially commented I appear to have clicked on the -Notify me
    when new comments are added- checkbox and from now on each time a comment is added I receive 4 emails with the exact same comment.
    Perhaps there is an easy method you are able
    to remove me from that service? Thanks a lot!

    My developer is trying to convince me to move to .net from PHP.
    I have always disliked the idea because of the costs.
    But he’s tryiong none the less. I’ve been using
    WordPress on numerous websites for about a year and am
    concerned about switching to another platform. I have
    heard good things about blogengine.net. Is
    there a way I can import all my wordpress content into it?
